Ropes Ticket Sales Increase for Old Fort Days Rodeo
FAYETTEVILLE, AR -- Despite
the soft economy and unseasonably wet weather, the Old Fort Days Rodeo
in Fort Smith, Arkansas, was a big success again this year with total
ticket sales up by 7 percent. A customized ticketing system from TICKETsage,
Inc., helped increase the annual event’s advance purchase ticket sales
from 24 percent to an impressive 43 percent for this year’s event.
This is the second consecutive
year the Old Fort Days Rodeo has used a system designed by TICKETsage.
In response to their customers’ changing needs, the organization contacted
the Fayetteville, Arkansas, based company in February of 2001 to develop
a custom box office system that included an e-commerce Web site and
remote box office stations.
