Georgia's Oldest Community Theatre Signs Exclusive Agreement with TICKETsage

AUGUSTA, GA – The Augusta Players, Augusta’s oldest arts organization and Georgia’s oldest community theatre, signed an exclusive ticketing agreement today with TICKETsage, Inc., marking the non-profit theatre’s first step toward a computerized box office system with real-time sales.

To improve efficiency and customer service without straining their strict budget, the Augusta Players chose TICKETsage’s low-cost, custom solution. In addition to telephone and on-site ticket sales, the Augusta Players will have online sales capabilities with the TICKETsage system. TICKETsage will provide accounting reports customized to meet the theatre company's unique needs.

“The Augusta Players has a rich tradition of serving Augusta with first-rate performances and many community outreach programs,” said RaeAnn Cherry-Heitzman, Account Executive for TICKETsage. “We are pleased to provide this vital arts organization with the tools to better serve their patrons and their community.”

TICKETsage’s partnership with the Augusta Players expands the Fayetteville, Arkansas, based company’s presence in the Augusta area. The historic Imperial Theatre also utilizes the Ticketsage system.
