PCA Calls Nutcracker Season a Success

SCHAUMBURG, IL – As the holidays come to a close, the Village of Schaumburg’s Prairie Center for the Arts has a reason to continue celebrating: their most successful Nutcracker season yet.

Although the Nutcracker has always been a popular show at the Prairie Center for the Arts, Jack Netter, PCA Operations Manager, said, “I believe we are selling more tickets for each show now because patrons are going online, finding that single seats are still available and buying them.”

Despite the increase in ticket sales, phone calls to the PCA box office dropped dramatically during the hectic holiday season. Box office staff credit online ticket sales, which rose to an impressive 38 percent, for the lighter phone traffic.

The Prairie Center for the Arts hosts approximately 40 events each year. It has utilized the TICKETsage system since September 2002.
