Releases Next Generation 'Real-Time' Print-At-Home and Access Control
Technology
SAN DIEGO, CA and FAYETTEVILLE AR --
TICKETsage, Inc. today announced the release of the company's 2nd generation
Print-At-Home
and Access Control Technology, streamlining the process venues use
to authenticate print-at-home and electronic tickets on the day of
the
show, and reducing the workload for system engineers and venue managers
after the event.
The new TICKETsage-developed technology
eliminates the need for database synchronization and print-at-home
'cut-offs' before print-at-home tickets are authenticated at
the gate. Using the technology, patrons can purchase tickets
at home in real-time from the full inventory even after the
gates have opened and the first patrons have been admitted.
Like competing products, the TICKETsage system uses two-dimensional,
encrypted barcodes and wireless technology to authenticate
individual tickets and prevent fraud,
but now, venue managers have a new weapon in their arsenal:
a real-time connection to the central inventory data warehouse.
Long a leader in seamless, real-time
access
to full inventory
from
all locations, TICKETsage's $250,000 development investment
has helped leverage the power of the company's proprietary
Distributed Ticketing
Technology
to extend
the
convenience
of real-time, full inventory access to the access control
end of the live-event ticketing business.
"You no longer need to synchronize databases and reconcile
multiple reports" said Stephen Cassar, Founder / CEO of TICKETsage,
Inc. "Now, the venue manager has full access to real-time sales
and admission data from any Web-enabled PC without
the need to set foot in the box office... even from home!"
Cassar added.
"Settling with the promoter the 'night of' has suddenly become
a lot easier because the same reports you pull daily to check
counts now show you all the sales, velocity and conversion
data you need to settle transactions for all locations and
delivery methods. What used to take hours is now automatic
and real-time" added
Chris
Earl,
Lead Engineer at TICKETsage's Fayetteville-Arkansas Development
Office.
"Print-at-Home will never replace the thermal ticket, and
we remain committed to servicing every delivery method available...
indefinitely" Cassar added. "I believe we have the best solution
for those clients who wish to implement Print-At-Home as an
added convenience to patrons, but do not want the headache
of running dual systems, or synchronizing
reports. Why buy a 'print-at-home' based solution, when you
can have a rock solid, full-service ticketing application that
also happens to have an industry-leading print-at-home module,
at no additional charge?" he said.
TICKETsage offers the 2nd generation Print-At-Home
and Access Control Technology as a 'fee free' option to clients. The
company's 100% customized solutions allow the company to use
a clean-sheet approach to every new installation, meeting the
complex challenges of private-label systems with ease. The
company remains committed to remaining 'invisible' to end users,
preferring instead to act as the 'power behind' clients.
